Monuments are in a poor state throughout Armenia – architect
Monuments are in a poor state throughout Armenia Chairman of the Union of Architects of Armenia Mkrtich Minasyan told reported on Monday.
“It was done for the population and the population should take care of monuments,” he said.
He noted that this attitude to monument has been observed since the 1990s.
“Indifference and permissiveness caused us serious losses,” Mr Minasyan said.
Although, within the limits of the possible, the government is taking care of monuments, people must show an appropriate attitude to them as well.
