Ukrainian city to host Genocide photo exhibition
An exhibition dedicated to the Armenian Genocide centennial will be held in the Ukrainian city of Kherson next week, Freshnews.org reports.
The organizer, a district organization of the local Armenian community, invites guests to visit the city on April 15 and 16 to participate in the event.
Entitled “Genocide is a Crime against Humanity”, the exhibition aims to introduce Ukrainians and many other nationalities to the 1915-1922 dreadful events and heinous crimes committed in the Ottoman Empire. The collective power and consolidated efforts will help raise more people’s awareness of one of the most tragic chapters of history and make yet another step towards the universal recognition of the Genocide.
