Yerevan school shows results of subject ‘Folk songs and dances’

Armenia’s Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan and Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan visited on Wednesday Yerevan School #200.

The school students gave a concert thus showing the results of the subject ‘Folk songs and dances’ included in the curriculum.

Mr Ashotyan called the program “Armenian know-how.”

Ms Poghosyan told reporters that Armenian songs and dances will “exist as long as the Armenian people.”

The subject “Folk songs and dances” is one of the best ways of educating worthy citizens of Armenia, she said.
