Armenian pavilion opens in Vienna as Eurovision 2015 gets underway
An Armenian pavilion has opened in a recently launched mini burgh in Vienna representing 10 participant countries of the Eurovision 2015 Song Contest.
Named Small Europe, the burgh is situated outside the Vienna City Hall. The Armenian pavilion is seen as a good opportunity to represent the country’s tourism attraction sites.
The idea is a joint initiative by the Armenian Embassy to Austria, the Austrian Development Agency and the Austrian Association for Oriental Studies.
According to a press release by the Foreign Ministry, Armenian Ambassador Arman Kirakosyan, the Agency’s CEO, Martin Ledolter, and representatives of the association on Thursday visited the pavilion to welcome and wish success to the participants.
