Bread in the mountains festival to take place in Yerevan

The Yerevan Summer 2015 program, which is being implemented by the Yerevan Municipality, includes the Bread in the Mountains festival.

The festival is to take place at the Hovhannes Tumanyan park in Yerevan, at 4:00-6:00pm on Saturday.

Kamo Movsesyan, Head of the Culture and Tourist Department, Yerevan Municipality, said that the Yerevan Summer program has been implemented for the third year.

“Among this year’s 42 events is the Bread in the Mountains festival,” Mr Movsesyan said. 

Sedrak Mamulyan, Chairman of the Armenian Cookery Traditions Development and Protection NGO, said that this is the 7th Bread in the Mountains festival in Armenia.

“This priority task is to disseminate the dishes we have inherited from our forefathers.”

A concert program will feature the event.
