Armenian Genocide central topic on Golden Apricot agenda

The program of the Yerevan hosted event includes different activities and projects dedicated to the big tragedy’s centennial.

The festival’s organizers say that their guests and partners will visit the Genocide Museum-Institute on Wednesday evening to attend a ceremony of honoring several participants with the Auroroa Mardiganyan Memory Medal. The award will be conferred upon Russian film critic and culture expert Kiril Razlogov, CEO of VivaCell MTS (Armenia’s leading mobile operator) Ralph Yirikyan, Ambassador-at-Large Levon Sargsyan and two benefactors, Pavel Margaryan and Khachik Manukyan.

A total of 24 movies were submitted for the Armenia-Turkey cinema platform, of which only 10 (five from Armenia and another five from Turkey) were selected for screening. Most of them are joint productions.
