French-Armenian legendary singer Charles Aznavour is in the city of Colmar to participate in the famous Alsace wine festival (Foire aux Vins d’Alsace), Armenpress reports, referring citing the website Francebleu.fr.
The 91-year-old is said to have attended a press conference, looking “happy and relaxed”. “We speak of wine, but it seems to me that when I came here years ago, it was a beer festival, wasn’t it?” joked the world-famous musician.
The website reports that Aznavour is not going to put down pen while the festival is under way, as he intends to continue writing songs. The singer admited that he keeps the habit of starting he day by creating music.
The singer will appear on stage at the festival’s opening on Friday.
