One Direction to take extended hiatus in March 

The group, which is now made up of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, has mutually agreed to take at least a year long break from the band to pursue their own projects, a source confirmed to the magazine.

This break also means there will not be a tour for their fifth album, which is expected to be released later this year.

The boys will continue to promote the album through February.

The decision to part ways comes just days after the British group released thenew music video for their single "Drag Me Down."
