Yerevan to host Grakan Tapan 2015 international festival

The Grakan Tapan 2015 (Literary Ark 2015) international festival will take place in Yerevan, on September 21-29.

Armenia’s Ministry of Culture is organizer of the festival.

The motto of this year’s festival is ‘Word for life.’ A writer living in any society has a task of meeting present-day challenges and making his voice heard.

The festival is a platform for more than 40 writers to raise their voice for life, truth and high-quality literature.
Among the participants in the festival are Chris Bohjalian, an American novelist and the author of 15 novels, including the bestsellers Midwives and The Sandcastle Girls, Varujan Vosganian, a Romanian politician, economist, essayist and poet, Johanna Rutgera 'Joke' van Leeuwen, a Dutch author and illustrator, Amir Or, an Israeli poet, editor and translator, Claudio Pozzani and others.
