Azerbaijan shells Armenian positions: four killed

On September 25, at about 17:30, the Azerbaijani armed forces shelled one of the north¬eastern military units of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

The Azerbaijani side used TR¬107 multiple rocket launchers of Turkish make. The shelling caused fatal shrapnel wounds to four Defense Army servicemen: Norayr Khachatryan (born 1995), Robert Mkrtchyan (born 1995), Harut Hakobyan (born 1997) and Karen Shahinyan (born 1997).

The press service of the NKR Defense Army reports injured as well.

An investigation is underway. The NKR Defense Ministry extends its condolences to the killed soldiers’ families, relatives and fellow servicemen.
