Zhoghovurd: New owner of Electric Networks to adopt new ‘culture’
The Electric Network of Armenia’s new owner, Samvel Karapetyan, reportedly intends to adopt a new culture by eliminating the ‘institute’ of electrical inspectors.
Citing its sources, the paper says that he is planning to attract investments to procure special data transmitters calculating the monthly bills and automatically transmitting them to the company. The plan, if realized, will thus rule out direct contacts between consumers and inspectors, adds the paper.
Karapetyan is said to be convinced that the system is effective enough in terms of preventing losses. The paper notes that the company’s current estimated losses amount to 25-30 million US Dollars (12%-13%).
