Georgian pop singer Soso Pavliashvili in Yerevan with new songs
Georgian pop singer Soso Pavliashvili is in Yerevan with a concert program dedicated to the International Youth Day.
The singer has added four new songs to his repertoire, which he will perform at the concert in Yerevan’s Sports and Concert Complex on Tuesday evening.
“I visit Armenia quite frequently, five or six times a year; it is a real festivity for me,” he told our correspondent before the concert.
Pavliashvili said it is a real pleasure for him to perform for the Armenian youth. “It is nice when you sing for good-looking guys with a high temper and a good taste for music, who gather here. They dance for you and you dance for them, and all that turn into a big festivity which we always remember. I wish the Armenian youth to have the talent to demonstrate their potential, create good families, love and be loved and believe in God and their country.”
Asked whether looking open-minded on stage is easy or difficult, the singer said he does not feel that it requires great effort to convey own thoughts and experiences to the audience. “I do not think about it; I just love life - on stage and beyond it. One does not have to make pretences or to pass himself or herself as someone else. For me, stage is a sacred value; from there, I can say everything I have or want to say to everybody,” he added.
