Armenia to host Days of Japanese Culture

This year, Days of Japanese Culture are expected to take place not only in Yerevan, but also in Gyumri.

The 9^th film festival is to take place on November 23 to 29. Japanese workers of art and culture will arrive in Armenia, Japanese Ambassador to Armenia Eiji Taguchi told Tert.am.

The event is supposed to bring the Armenian and Japanese cultures closer to each other.

“I hope that Japanese films will help disseminate Japanese culture throughout Armenia, raise public awareness of Japanese art and culture. Our purpose is to stimulate the interest in Japanese films among both children and grown-ups. So different genres have been selected,” Mr Taguchi said.
