Aznavour to visit Armenia in April

Legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour is visiting Armenia in April, Armenpress reports, citing the musician’s spokesperson.

"We are going to visit Armenia and will be present at the ‘Aurora" Awards’, Christina Sargsyan told the state news agency without giving further details.

A prominent singer, songwriter, actor and public figure, Aznavour was born on May 22, 1924 in Paris. He is the author and performer of many famous works. He has sold over 100 million records. Since 2009, Aznavour has been the Armenian Ambassador to Switzerland, as well as the the country’s Permanent Representative to the UN Headquarters in Geneva.

The legendary singer gave a concert in Armenia on October 10, 2015.
