PanArmenian TV, Global Arts launching joint award event

PanArmenian TV, the biggest Diaspora-based Armenian TV channel, is announcing its annual award event in collaboration with Global Arts International.

Armenian Entertainment Awards 2016 will feature jazz, pop, rock and other favorite genres, as well as exceptional theatrical performances, concerts and cultural news tailored to the US-Armenian Diaspora’s interests.  

The organizers are planning to hold the ceremony at the Microsoft Theater (Los Angeles) on November 6 to honor prominent Armenian artists and show business representatives from the United States but also Armenia, Russia, European countries and Canada. The awards will be distributed among the authors of the best work of the year. The organizers promise an unprecedented show with super-modern sound and light effects.

Microsoft Theater has been the venue of such internationally-acclaimed award ceremonies as American Music Awards, Bet Awards, Emmy Awards, People’s Choice Awards, 2010 & 2011 MTB Video Music Awards, 2014 & 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and MTV Movie, and the American Idol Final Shows.

A unique show with its style and program, Armenian Entertainment Awards 2016 will attract an audience of 7,100 in the Los Angeles theatre. It will also be followed live by around 10,000 TV viewers from around the globe.

Director of PanArmenian TV David Avetisyan describes the award event as a unique platform with a special mission to build bridges between Armenia and the Diaspora.

Global Arts International is a major Diaspora-Armenian organization arranging Armenian events in foreign countries. Its founding director, Garbis Titizian, attaches a big value to showcasing talented Armenians’ artwork in the United States, as well as raising the Armenian population’s awareness of their compatriots' achievements abroad.
