Armenian novelist writes book dedicated to independence

A contemporary Armenian writer and novelist, Armen Hayastantsi (Ohanyan), on Monday presented his recent novel dedicated to the 25th anniversary of independence.

“Motherland Flag” is the first novel in the writer’s series “Motherland”. The presentation was held in a Yerevan café.

Speaking to Tert.am, the writer said he has tried to offer solutions to controversies, confrontations and stereotypes, meantime encouraging readers to preserve their national identity and national values.

“This is a book about independence, internal freedom. And independence is never pointless,”  he said.
