Quentin Tarantino is aiming for the prefect ten.

The director confirmed at the Adobe Max conference in San Diego on Thursday that his tenth film will be his last.

“Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, "Match that s***", he told the crowd in Hall H of the Convention Center.

THR reported that CMO of Adobe Ann Lewnes - moderator of the Q&A - asked the 53-year-old how he will personally define success.

“Hopefully, the way I define success when I finish my career is that I’m considered one of the greatest filmmakers that ever lived,' he replied to cheers. “And going further, a great artist, not just filmmaker.”

Tarantino has indicated before that he would not direct a film past his tenth.

By his own count, he has directed eight feature films so far:  My Best Friend’s Birthday (1987), Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill: Vol 1 and 2 (2003, 2004), Inglorious Basterds (2009), Django Unchained (2012), and The Hateful Eight (2015).
