Angelina Jolie is said to be hoping to move to London with her six children as she attempts to secure a high ranking job at the United Nations.

A new report cited by the Sun claims the actress, who was appointed a Special Envoy in 2012, is hoping to further her career in the organisation – possibly becoming the Secretary General.

TMZ claim the Tomb Raider star is hoping to make the move soon and that she has her eye on the top job, currently held by Ban Ki Moon.

He is currently in the final weeks of his ten year term at the United Nations.

Angelina, 41, has worked tirelessly for the United Nations over a number of years.

She previously represented them as a Goodwill Ambassador from 2001 to 2012, before being made a Special Envoy four years ago.
