David Mackenzie  to fund film and TV school project in Armenia - premier

Prominent film director David Mackenzie recently offered investments worth US $5 million to the Armenian Government to assist in a film and television school project.

If founded, the new institution will be a partner organization of the Los Angeles Film School, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan told the cabinet members at the Thursday meeting.

“The school will purchase, within three years, film production equipment and devices from the United States,” he said, asking the minister of culture to consider and respond to the proposal within a fortnight’s period.
