World-famous singer and songwriter Charles Aznavour shared his concerns over the challenges surrounding Armenia as he was hosted by a Russian TV channel for an evening show ahead of his scheduled concert.

The musician, 92, also spoke about art, and his big family.

“Armenia is in need of help. It is a small country surrounded by enemies and friends. I’d rather there were only friend states. But it all has to do with mentality; they need to have the same mentality as we do to make it possible. Neither land nor oil matter here; I don’t care about that. What matters to me is for a human being to be a human being,” he said.

The proceeds from the concert will go to the charity fund established by the singer in aid refugees and other people in need.
