Ricky Martin to play Versace's lover on 'American Crime Story'

Ricky Martin is venturing into the acting world again.

The 45-year-old Latin singer is set to play a major role in FX’s third season of American Crime Story, Justjared.com reoirts, citing Deadline.

He will play Antonio D’Amico, the longtime partner of fashion designer Gianni Versace, in the 10-episode drama about the July 1997 assassination.

Edgar Rarmirez is playing Versace, alongside Darren Criss and Penelope Cruz also in the cast.

This will reunite Ricky with Ryan Murphy whom he also worked with on a 2012 episode of Glee.
