Shadow of Ararat, new Armenian documentary, presented in Moscow

The Moscow Documentary Film Center on Friday presented The Shadow of Ararat, a historical documentary shedding light on the Armenian communities in the Diaspora.

The movie, produced in 2017 by director Miguel Ángel Nieto, tells the success stories of internationally acclaimed Diaspora Armenians whose ancestors found shelter in different countries abroad after narrowly escaping the Genocide.

The film features the centuries-old Armenian history and culture, providing a rich insight into the different episodes of the Genocide.  

The presentation was organized by the Armenian Embassy to the Russian Federation. Ambassador Vardan Toghanyan delivered an opening address at the beginning to greet the attendees.
