It was love at first sight when they met at a Manchester United match back in 1997.

And David Beckham is reportedly planning to celebrate 20 years since he first locked eyes on wife Victoria in a truly extravagant fashion - by buying her a Caribbean island.

The retired sports star is allegedly set to splash out £7million on the remote yet beautiful Bird Cay in the South Berry Islands, Nassau, the Daily Mail reports, citing the Daily Star.

David is also said to be considering purchasing Sandy Cay in The Abacos in the Bahamas, as well as the Toad Hall Estate in the British Virgin Islands.

However, Bird Cay has the edge over the other two due to its sheer size and the possibility for the former Manchester United star to construct his very own golf course.
