Golden Apricot director steps down

Director of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival (GAIFF) Harutyun Khachatryan has been relieved of duties.

According to an official statement by the GAIFF press service, he has submitted a personal resignation, citing the high overload of work as the reason behind his decision.

The festival’s founding council has appointed Susanna Harutyunyan, a film critic, as the new director.
