Mariah Carey's Los Angeles mansion burgled

Mariah Carey had roughly $50,000 worth of purses and sunglasses stolen from her Los Angeles mansion during a break-in. 

Burglars gained access to her residence around 3am Thursday entering through a window or door on an upper floor, law enforcement officials told TMZ, the Daily Mail reports. 

Thieves surprisingly didn't take any of the mother-of-two's pricey jewelry, but instead they stole her more than valuable sunglasses and purses.

Carey was not harmed during the incident since she is currently in New York City. 

Burglars did trip a silent alarm when they entered her home, but her security team did not notice the break-in until a few hours later. 

Authorities have not made any arrests and are still investigating.  

Carey is just the latest celeb to be hit by crooks this year. Jason Derulo, David Spade, Emmy Rossum, Scott Disick and more all have been robbed during 2017.  

The songstress was spotted out for a low-key dinner in New York City Wednesday night.   

She slipped her famous curves into a plunging vest and leggings combo, layered beneath a leather bomber jacket, as she enjoyed a night off with friends.

The singer put on an eye-popping display in the tight-fitting black vest, which plunged deeply at the chest to flash her ample cleavage to all.  

She paired the top with simple black leggings - which were made saucier by a mesh seam down the back and the image of a love-heart stitched onto the derriere.

Keeping coordinated from head to toe, she then added a leather bomber jacket on top, which featured a matching red heart on the back, as well the word 'Love' emblazoned across her bust. 

Never without a hint of glamour however, Carey tied her look together with sky-high suede boots, and sleek leather handbag on one arm. 

She left her hair in its everyday sleek style, but added gold hoops and thick false lashes in glamorous finishing touches. 


Carey appeared in good spirits as she headed for sushi with friends, without boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, 34, by her side.
