Tjeknavorian honored with Armenian president’s acknowledgement award

The Armenian Embassy in Tehran on Sunday hosted a special reception in honor of Loris Tjeknavorian, a prominent Iranian-Armenian conductor who is celebrating his 80th birth anniversary this year.

Appreciating the Tjeknavorian’s great talent, and contribution to the development of musical art, Ambassador Artashes Tumanyan handed to him an acknowledgement award by the Armenian president, reports the Embassy’s press service.

The ambassador highly praised also the musician’s patriotism, and dedicated work in homeland in the first years of independence, wishing him a sound health and more creative achievements.
