Tom Hardy gets 'Leo knows all tattoo' after losing Oscar bet with The Revenant co-star DiCaprio

He was tasked with getting a hilarious tattoo designed by his The Revenant co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, after losing a bet.

And two years on, it seems Tom Hardy has finally made good on his promise to get an inking in homage to his filmstar pal, as he was seen sporting what appeared to be a LEO KNOWS ALL tattoo, the Daily Mail reports.

It was previously revealed that Leonardo had claimed Tom would be Oscar-nominated for his role in The Revenant - a prediction that Tom humbly but wrongly bet against.

In a post shared by Facebook fan page Tom Hardy, My Obsession, the 40-year-old Mad Max star can be seen posing with a pal, clad in a tight-fitting charcoal t-shirt, while showing off a bicep tattoo seemingly paying tribute to the Titanic star. 

Looking pleased with the snap, hunky Tom wore his chestnut locks in a quiffed style, sported a handsome smattering of stubble and rocked leather gloves. 

The pair's playful bet began when Leo predicted Tom would be nominated for an Oscar for his role in 2015's The Revenant.

After Tom disagreed, the Hollywood heavyweights agreed that the loser of the bet would get a custom designed tattoo of the winner's choosing.

Unluckily for the Wuthering Heights star, he lost the bet after he was nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category at the 2016 Academy Awards for his portrayal of sinister trapper John Fitzgerald.

Later that year, the Hammersmith-born heartthrob explained that although he had promised to let Leo design a tattoo for him, he had yet to complete his side of the bargain.  

He said: 'I haven't got it yet, because it sucks . . . He wrote, in this really sh***y handwriting: 'Leo knows
everything.' Ha! I was like, 'OK, I'll get it done, but you have to write it properly.'
