Monica Bellucci, 53, flaunts incredible figure in a classic black gown as she's honored at Italian Institute of Culture in LA

It's a well-deserved honor for one of the world's most-accomplished actresses.

Monica Bellucci was the center of attention as she was honored Wednesday at the Harmony Gold theater in Los Angeles, in a dual effort from the Filming on Italy festival and the Italian Institute of Culture Los Angeles Creativity Awards, the Daily Mail reports, citing Variety .

The 53-year-old actress was clad in a shoulder-less black Mermaid gown with sheer elbow sleeves and a sheer bottom panel extending to the floor. The mother-of-two wore her shoulder-length dark black locks down, accessorizing with a necklace and a gold clutch purse.

The actress has been seen in notable domestic motion pictures such as The Passion of the Christ and The Matrix Reloaded, as well as TV series such as Mozart in the Jungle and the Twin Peaks revival.

She told Extra on Wednesday that she was 'very touched and moved' to be the recipient of an award, and excited to present her latest project, On the Milky Road.
