To Kill a Mockingbird estate suing producers over Broadway adaptation
The estate of To Kill a Mockingbird author Harper Lee is suing the producers of a much-anticipated Broadway adaptation of the US novel.
According to BBC News, the estate argues that the play's script differs too much from the book about race relations in the Deep South.
Play producer Scott Rudin denies this, saying his team - not the estate - has the final say over the script.
Harper Lee's novel was written in 1960. It remains a towering presence in American literature.
It won the Pulitzer Prize in literature in 1961.
Harper Lee died in 2016 at the age of 89.
