Armenian director’s film wins top award at Le Peitit Cannes festival
A movie by a Ukrainian-Armenian director has won a top prize at the 71st annual Le Petite Cannes film festival.
Khachatur Vasilyan’s Details was named the best from among 550 short-length movies presented for the Experimental Film category.
The author shared his delight and gratitude on Facebook. “Our experiment worked,” he said in a recent post.
The creative group has now been invited to take part in an international film festival in the Swiss town of Locarno.
