Hailee Steinfeld builds relationship with a Transformer in action-packed trailer for Bumblebee

The latest trailer for the upcoming Transformers prequel - Bumblebee - has been released.

Unlike the previous teaser in June, we see star Hailee Steinfeld in action alongside the yellow transformer.

The film is set in a small California beach town in the year 1987, the Daily Mail reports.

The trailer begins with Steinfeld’s Charlie Watson discovering Bumblebee disguised as a rusty old VW Beetle in a junkyard on her 18th birthday.

“Is the beetle for sale?” she asks the attendant. “It's your's kid, happy birthday.”

Eventually Charlie revives broken down car, but then she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
