Eurovision 2019: First 10 semi-finalists named
The first 10 qualifiers of the Eurovision 2019 Song Contest were selected in the semi-finals in Israel's capital, Tel-Aviv, on Tuesday.
The representatives of Belarus, Greece, Serbia, Cyprus, Estonia, Czech Republic, Australia, Iceland, San Marino and Slovenia received enough votes by the professional jury and the TV viewers (on the 50/50 basis) to enter the final round.
The participants of Montenegro, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Belgium, Georgia and Australia did not qualify for the contest.
Armenian participant, Srbuk, is to open the second semifinals on Thursday with her song Walking Out. She will be joined by the participants from Israel (the 2019 winner), Germany, Spain, Italy, France and Great Britain. The second semi-finals will also select 10 countries.
The final concert is scheduled for Saturday, May 18. The selected slogan for this year's contest is Dare to Dream.
