Ardshinbank to sponsor Komitas 150 Festival

The Komitas Museum-Institute on Friday hosted a ceremony of signing a trilateral agreement to accept the sponsorship of a jubilee festival marking the 150th anniversary of Komitas.

The sponsoring institution, Ardshinbank, concluded the deal with the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the Museum-Institute as part of its commitment to assist in the preservation and development national cultural traditions.

Under bank’s financial support, commemorative publications featuring original pieces by the great composer - including choral songbooks, and other collections - will be published soon to introduce the musician’s rich heritage in a fresh light.

Ardshinbank is the only private venture in Armenia which has released Eurobonds on international capital markets. It has assigned ratings from two international major rating agencies (Moody’s and Fitch). The Banker, a publication owned by the Financial Times Group, has named Ardshinbank the “Bank of the Year in Armenia for 2018’’.
