Celine Dion, 51, says it took her three years to recover and find the 'passion to keep going' after her husband's death at age 73
Celine Dion took three years to find the 'passion to keep going' after her husband René Angélil's death in January 2016. Angélil passed away from throat cancer complications at the age of 73.
And that is why it took so long for her to get back on tour. The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker is soon set to embark on her Courage tour, which will be her first since losing her husband.
The 51-year-old star confessed it took her a long time to find the 'force and energy' to carry on after he passed away, Daily Mail informs.
Speaking to Extra, she said: 'I would say roughly three years, for me to have for example the passion to keep going and the force and the energy.'
