Armenian singer Vahe Davtyan dies at 44

Vahe Davtyan, a popular Armenian singer of the 1990s, has died at the age of 44 not long after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

His friend, Aram Manukyan, confirmed the report to Tert.am Life on Saturday morning. In his words, the singer had only a few days ago returned from France where he was receiving a special treatment.

In the 1990s, Davtyan gained prominence with such popular songs as “Pendulum”, “Go”, “Daydreams”, “My Kind Monster with Blue Eyes”.
