Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway's hit film, The Devil Wears Prada, is about to hit the stage in a big way.

The beloved 2006 film will be turned into a musical and is set to premiere at Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre in July and run until August before moving to Broadway, according to the Daily Mail.

On Tuesday it was revealed that the score will be done by Elton John.

The original film focused on the tense relationship between fashion magazine editor Amanda Priestly (Streep) and her hard working but naive assistant Andrea Sachs (Hathaway).

It also starred Emily Blunt as Andrea's co-assistant and Stanley Tucci as Amanda's adviser Nigel Kipling.
