Constantine Orbelian nominated for 2020 Grammy Awards
Constantine Orbelian, the Artistic Director of the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre, has been nominated for Grammy Awards.
The prominent US-Armenian musician shared the news on Facebook on Thursday night, praising the jointly released album with Stephan Castello as a fruitful collaborative effort to that effect.
“Stephen Costello, Constantine Orbelian and the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra were nominated for a GRAMMY for the first Stephen's solo album ‘A Te, O Cara’ in the category ‘Best Classical Solo Vocal Album’," reads his public post.
The world-famous conductor said it is his fourth nomination for the award.
The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for January 26, 2020.
