Madonna celebrates father Silvio's 90th birthday with five of her six children after flying back to her family's vineyard in Michigan
Madonna celebrated her beloved father Silvio Ciccone's 90th birthday on Wednesday by returning to her family's vineyard in Michigan.
The Daily Mail reports that the superstar, 62, was joined by five of her six children, with her eldest son Rocco, 20, absent from the festivities, to mark Silvio's special day in Suttons Bay, and openly documented the occasion on social media.
Posting footage from the trip, Madonna gushed her father “lived through many traumas' after growing up in the US as an Italian immigrant, proudly branding him 'a survivor who worked hard for everything he had.”
In the caption Madonna wrote: 'My father is a survivor growing up as an Italian Immigrant in the US and living thru many traumas but always working hard for everything he had.'
Ciccone Vineyard and Winery, which was established in 1995, is run by Silvio and his wife Joan, with Madonna's half-siblings Mario and Paula acting as Vineyard Manager and Wine Maker.
