The Azerbaijani government television company presents Harichivank as an Azerbaijani heritage. Arman Tatoyan
For the second time, the Azerbaijani government's plan to invade Armenia has presented Harijavank as an Azerbaijani heritage. Arman Tatoyan, the former human rights defender of the Republic of Armenia, wrote about this.
"Azerbaijani government television company presents the Harichavank monastery complex in Shirak Marz, Armenia, as a part of the culture of "Western Azerbaijan" by falsifying historical facts.
In this video, Harijavank is presented as an Albanian religious and cultural heritage. An attempt is being made to deny the existence of Armenians as the first Christian nation.
The video is part of the Azerbaijani state propaganda of racism and hostility against Armenians, with which the bases of aggression against Armenia are created with consistent falsehoods.
Harijavank is one of the monastery complexes of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, it was founded in the early Middle Ages and historically was not only the spiritual center of Armenians, but also an important educational and cultural center," he wrote.
