Պատմությանը հայտնի շատ լուսանկարներ գունավոր չեն, այլ՝ սևուսպիտակ։ Գունավոր լուսանկարչության տեխնիկան հայտնագործվել է 1850-ականներին, սակայն չի կիրառվել ֆոտոլրագրությունում տասնամյակներ շարունակ։

Այժմ որոշ հայտնի լուսանկարներ «կերպարանափոխվել» են նորագույն տեխնոլոգիաների օգնությամբ, գրում է The Daily Mail-ը։

Շնորհիվ գունավորման տեխնոլոգիաների զարգացման՝ տասնյակ լուսանկարներ այժմ հնարավոր է տեսնել վառ գույներով։
