Ջորջ Վաշինգտոնի անվան ամերիկյան համալսարանի գիտնականները հայտնաբերել են գորտի նոր տեսակ, որն ունի մարդու եղունգի մեծություն:

Պարբերականը նշում է, որ գորտի այս տեսակի արտաքին քողարկումն այնքան լավն է, որ այն հրաշալիորեն միաձուլվում է միջավայրի հետ և դրա շնորհիվ կարողացել է այսքան երկար անտեսանելի մնալ գիտնականների համար:

Երկկենցաղները, որոնց մարմնով մեկ, ասես, աստղեր ցփնված լինեն, ստացել են Astrobatrachus kurichiyana անվանումը և ներկայացնում են գորտերի միանգամայն նոր ենթաընտանիք:
