Մյանմայում հայտնաբերել են սաթի մեջ լավագույնս պահպանված 5 սանտիմետր երկարությամբ աշխարհի ամենափոքր դինոզավրի գանգը, որի վրա աչքեր ու ատամներ են երևում, գրում է Daily Mail պարբերականը։

Հետազոտողների համաձայն` «կենդանին» այնպիսի տեսք ունի, կարծես երեկ է սատկել՝ չնայած այն փաստին, որ գիտնականները գնահատում են, որ գտածոն մոտ 99 միլիոն տարվա պատմություն ունի։

Նշվում է, որ հետազոտողներին հաջողվել է համակարգչային ծրագրերի միջոցով ստանալ կենդանու գանգի ամբողջական և դինոզավրի ընդհանուր հավանական պատկերը։

Հետազոտության արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ այն Oculudentavis khaungraae տեսակի դինոզավրերի շարքին է պատկանում։

Նշվում է, որ դինոզավրն ավելի փոքր է, քան ներկայում ամենափոքր թռչունը համարվող կոլիբրին։ Չնայած փոքր չափերին՝ այն գիշատիչ է։
