Լույս հունվարի 21-ին տեղի է ունեցել արտասովոր բնական երևույթ՝ «արյունոտ» գերլուսնի ամբողջական խավարում, որին հետևել են աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում:

Daily Mail պարբերականը ներկայացրել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի տարածքում արված ամենաուշագրավ կադրերը:

Լուսինը երկար ժամանակ գտնվել է Երկրի ստվերի ամենախոր հատվածում: Այդ ընթացքում երկնային մարմինը մթնոլորտային ազդեցության արդյունքում կարմրադարչնագույն երանգ է ստացել: Արդյունքում դիտվել է «արյունոտ Լուսին» երևույթը:

Հայտնի է, որ գերլուսնի ամբողջական խավարումը տեսանելի է եղել Հյուսիսային և Հարավային Ամերիկաների, Գրենլանդիայի, Իսլանդիայի, Նորվեգայի, Շվեդիայի, Պորտուգալիայի, Ֆրանսիայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Իսպանիայի երկնքում:

Երևույթին հետևելու հնարավորություն չեն ունեցել Ասիայի, Ավստրալիայի և Նոր Զելանդիայի բնակիչները:

Այս տարի կդիտվի ևս երկու գերլուսին՝ փետրվարի 19-ին և մարտի 21-ին:

Լուսնի հաջորդ ամբողջական խավարումը տեղի է ունենալու 2021թ. մայիսի 26-ին:
