Իռլանդիայում հարյուրավոր մարդիկ հավաքվել են երգչուհի Շինեյդ Օ’Քոնորին վերջին հրաժեշտը տալու համար: Ինչպես գրում է The Guardian-ը, Nothing Compares to You հիթի կատարողի մահը սգացողները արևածագից սկսել են հավաքվել իռլանդական Բրեյ քաղաքի ճանապարհի երկայնքով, որտեղով անցել է երգչուհու մարմինը տեղափոխող ավտոշարասյունը:

Օ’Քոնորի ընտանիքը հայտնել է, որ երգչուհու հուղարկավորությունը կլինի մասնավոր արարողությամբ, այլ մանրամասներ չեն հաղորդվել: Նշվել է միայն, որ Իռլանդիայի նախագահն ու առաջին տիկինը ներկա են լինելու:
