Լաս Վեգասում կիրակի կայացել է «Միսս Տիեզերք-2015» գեղեցկության հեղինակավոր մրցույթը, որի ընթացքում տեղի է ունեցել ուշագրավ դեպք:

Ինչպես նշում է gazeta.ru-ն, հաղորդավար Սթիվ Հարվիի թույլ տված սխալի պատճառով սկզբում հաղթող է ճանաչվել Կոլումբիայի 21-ամյա ներկայացուցիչ Արիադնա Գուտերեշ Արևալոն, ում գլխին բաղձալի թագը դրել է մրցույթի նախորդ տարվա հաղթող Պաուլինա Վեգան։

Սակայն րոպեներ անց Հարվին հայտնել է, որ սխալմունք է տեղի ունեցել, և ինքն իրական հաղթողի անունը չի ասել։ Այս ամենի արդյունքում թագն Արևալոյի գլխից վերցվել է ու շնորհվել Ֆիլիպինների 26-ամյա ներկայացուցիչ Պիա Ալոնսո Վուրտցբախին, ով ճանաչվել է «Միսս Տիեզերք-2015» մրցույթի հաղթող։

Ինչպես ավելի վաղ հայտնել էր Tert.am-ը, ֆիլիպինցու և գերմանացու խառնուրդ Վուրտցբախը ծնվել է Գերմանիայում: Ըստ որոշ տվյալների՝ նա սիրային հարաբերությունների մեջ է Ֆիլիպինների նախագահի հետ:

Vega then placed the crown on Wurtzbach's head before the telecast abruptly cut to a commercial break

Vega rested her hand on her countrywoman's shoulder as she moved to take her Miss Universe sash and flowers away

Vega then gave Wurtzbach a congratulatory hug for a victory she had just minutes ago believed had slipped her grasp

Fellow contestants flocked to congratulate Wurtzbach after she was revealed to be the true winner of the pageant

Miss Colombia had celebrated her victory for more than two minutes before Harvey's mistake was revealed and Pia was crowned

Harvey told the audience it had been his personal mistake and begged them 'not to take it out on the ladies'

Wurtzbach and Gutierrez had held hands as they waited for Harvey to first call the winner of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant

Wurtzbach smiled and embraced Gutierrez when Harvey announced Colombia had won for the second time in two years

Gutierrez waved her country's flag and took what she believed would be her first of many walks as Miss Universe 2015

After they made it to the top three spots Harvey revealed to the women that their fellow competitors were going to help decide who would be named Miss Universe 2015
