Նյու Յորքի Մետրոպոլիտեն թանգարանում կայացել է շոու բիզնեսի աստղերի մասնակցությամբ անցկացվող Met Gala ամենամյա հավաքույթը։ Met Gala-ին ներկա են եղել միայն ամենահայտնի և ճանաչված աստղերը. մուտքը եղել է բացառապես հրավիրատոմսերով:

«Նորաձևության ոլորտի և Հոլիվուդի ամենահայտնի դեմքերն իրենց մեկը մյուսից ինքնատիպ հանդերձներով միջոցառումը վերածել են դիտարժան շոուի՝ չնայած, որ երբեմն նրանցից որոշների տեսքը ծիծաղ է առաջացրել»,-գրում է Daily Mail-ը:

Միջոցառմանը հրավիրված էր նաև Keeping Up With the Kardashians իրապատում շոուի աստղ Քիմ Քարդաշյանը, որը կարմիր գորգին է հայտնվել Maison Mugler բրենդի այնպիսի հագուստով, որի դիզայներական լուծումները «անձրևի խոշոր կաթիլներից թրջվածի» տպավորություն են ստեղծել: Քարդաշյանը հավակնում է հայտնվել երեկոյի ամենալավ հագնված աստղերի ցանկում:
